The pans in this works  were already in use for several years and show corresponding signs of wear and tear. That integrates the respective history of the pan into the artwork. After filling the pans with sulfur powder, they were heated up on a hot plate. Completely melted, the sulfur crystallized afterwards and formed the yellow glowing layer inside of the pan. Sulfur as a not commonplace, mystical material puts the pan in a new context. The pan is mounted vertically which gives the shape and color a close resemblance to a warning sign.
