In the series „Blick in die Sonne“, the insides of various slogging ring spanners were filled with sulfur. The objects are presented hanging on the wall. Their sign like character gets emphasized. The functionality of the tools is removed. Aesthetic aspects come to the fore. Sulfur as a luminous material, different to everyday life and associated with mysticism and alchemy, creates a poetic moment of alienation.
